We have an amazing opportunity available for the right person to join the Chartwell family. We are seeking an experienced ‘Key Account Manager’ to take ownership of and further develop a key area of our already established and successful business.

The ideal candidate will have the skills to reinforce existing and build new relationships within already firmly established key customers, serving a common end-client.

The role would suite a highly motivated professional individual who is looking to grow their career with an award winning, innovative and forward-thinking company.

Building on our existing excellent reputation in the BMS controls industry, the ideal candidate will pose strong customer facing skills, with a track history in growing business relationships. Preferably living within 40 miles of our Midlands Office in Northamptonshire, duties will be predominantly to develop/diversify new and existing business, working closely with the Chartwell Senior Management team.

The chosen candidate for this excellent opportunity will be actively encouraged to consider, share and develop ways to benefit our current and expanding customer base.

SUMMARY OF KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as ‘Key Account Manager’, preferably within the BMS industry.

  • Demonstrate a track record in successfully achieving strong growth targets.
  • Experience in providing solutions to suit customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • The ability to resolve any issues and problems faced by customers dealing with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Play an integral part in generating business growth that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Demonstrate working with Initiative.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Customer facing skills are essential for this role as we pride ourselves on our customer relations.
  • Willingness to learn with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be risk adverse and confident in making incisive decisions.
