The Chartwell group has been named a finalist in three categories of the 2017 BCIA Awards, with four projects shortlisted.
In 2016, we were nominated for two awards, with our apprentice Dan Slack winning Student of the Year. Innovation, product development, project delivery and training are recognised by the awards, with judges drawn from across the BeMS industries. Winners of this year’s awards will be announced on Thursday 11 May 2017.
Our energy division submitted two projects for consideration under the Energy Management Award category; both have been shortlisted. Our projects division put forward our work on the Battersea Power Station redevelopment, which has been shortlisted for the Independent Building Controls & BeMS Installer of the Year category. And our very own Rafal Kapela is up for the prestigious Engineer of the Year award.
“Being nominated in three categories at the 2017 BCIA Awards (and for every project we’ve entered) clearly demonstrates our commitment to innovation, quality and collaboration in all we do,” says Paul Coker, managing director at Chartwell. “These nominations build on our success at the 2016 BCIA Awards and we look forward to celebrating talent and success across the controls industry with our peers at this event.”
